Our player injury report lists which player was injured, position, player status (probable, questionable, doubtful or out) and date of return. For example, New York Jets' Quarterback Sanchez - Shoulder? DBTF means he is doubtful for the game. You'll also receive stadium weather reports detailing current temperature, chance of snow or rain, wind speed, wind direction and visibility prior to the game.
How important is this information? Let’s say it’s August 9th and the St. Louis Cardinals are playing the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. You check your ATS Sports Pager and discover the Cardinals have a left-handed, fly ball pitcher on the mound and the wind is blowing out from HP (Home plate) to CF (Center Field) at 22 mph.
The Chicago Cubs, who have a predominantly strong right-handed lineup, are +130 and the total is 9.5 runs. Of course, you're going to lean towards the Chicago Cubs and the Over. The final score: Chicago Cubs 11, St. Louis 6. You win the side and total and chalk one up for the ATS Sports Pager.
