TV Weekend Sports Schedule
Looking for something to watch or wager on this weekend? The NFL returns for Week 2 while College Football in Week 3. There's also Baseball, Boxing, and NASCAR on tap. Boxing odds are from 5dimes. All times listed are Eastern Standard.
Friday, Sept. 14
In college football, Washington State and new coach Mike Leach visits Las Vegas to take on UNLV at 9pm on ESPN.
In major league baseball, Pittsburgh is at the Chicago Cubs on WGN at 2:10pm; there's regional coverage of Tampa Bay at the NY Yankees at 7pm or Washington at Atlanta at 7:30pm on the MLB Network.
In the WNBA, Seattle is at San Antonio on NBATV at 8pm followed by Connecticut at the LA Sparks on NBATV at 10:30pm.
Saturday, September 15
In boxing, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (+180) faces Sergio Martinez (-220) for the WBC middleweight title on HBO Pay-per-View starting at 9pm.
Showtime also has a big card led by Josesito Lopz (+1000) faces Canelo Alvarez (-1500) for the WBC super welterweight title.
In college football, let's get to week 3, starting with noon games.
At 12pm, start your day with California at Ohio State on ABC; Wake Forest at Florida State on ESPN; Arkansas State at Nebraska on ESPN2; Virginia Tech at Pitt on ESPNU; Louisiana-Lafayette at Oklahoma State on FSN; TCU at Kansas on FX; and William & Mary at Towson on NBCSN.

Sunday, September 16
The NFL kicks off its second Sunday with regional coverage on CBS and Fox at 1pm; and doubleheader games on Fox now starting at 4:25pm. The Sunday night game features Detroit at San Francisco on NBC at 8:20pm.
In NASCAR Sprint Cup series, the Geico 400 goes off from Joliet, Ill. on ESPN at 2pm.
In baseball, Tampa Bay is at the NY Yankees on TBS at 1pm; Pittsburgh is at the Chicago Cubs at WGN at 2:10pm; Washington is at Atlanta on ESPN at 8pm.
