5 Things You Need to Know in Sports

Here is a look at some of the more important events this Tuesday in the world of sports and gaming. This will be a daily feature on atswins.com, offering a brief look at the top 4 important matchups of the day along with a look at future odds.

1)Cincinnati at LA Dodgers, Johnny Cueto (9-4, 2.26 ERA) vs. Chris Capuano (9-3, 2.69 ERA), 10:10pmET (KCAL)

The Reds were hoping that Cueto would make the All-Star Game after such a strong first half. The Reds are trying to stay afloat in the NL Central. The Dodgers have no fallen behind the LA Dodgers in the NL West. They really need Matt Kemp (hamstring) back. Red are 4-0 last 4 on the road in series. The Reds opened as a -155 favorite and the total is 6.5.

2)Texas at Chicago White Sox, Roy Oswalt (2-0, 4.26 ERA) vs. Chris Sale (9-2, 2.27 ERA), 8:10pmET
Chris Sale has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. He'll have a touch matchup against Josh Hamilton, Adrian Beltre and Nelson Cruz. The Rangers send newly-acquired Roy Oswalt to the mound. The series is 3-12 Under last 15. The White Sox opened up as a -130 favorite and the total is 9.

3)Wimbledon: Monday's 4th-round matches continued
Mardy Fish had a 1-0 set lead over Jo-Wilifried Tsonga on Monday and they were tied 1-1 before the match was postponed. The Brian Baker/Phillip Kohlschreiber 4th round match will start at 6:30amET. Andy Murray was up 7-5, 3-1 over Marin Cilic, Florian Mayer had a one-set lead over Richard Gasquet, while the David Ferrer/Juan Martin del Potro match has yet to begin.

4)Wimbledon: Women's Quarterfinals
So Maria Sharapova and Kim Clijsters are out in straight sets. Tuesday's quarterfinals will be highlighted by #4 Petra Kvitova (+135), last year's champ against #6 Serena Williams (-175).
